Tim I loved this! I used to start my high school English classes with a silent reading period, and I had a library of general fiction in my room (I think I wrote this before) anyone could check out.
I, also, still struggle mentally with the fact that I’ve never read Moby Dick, but I inhale Lee Child like Hershey’s kisses.

I also taught Plato’s Allegory of the Cave, but I used The Matrix as my example—seriously, do that, just for your own entertainment! You can plug in Neo and his antics and it’s so much fun. The first movie follows the allegory most closely.
