Thanks Shanna! I’m working on an article now that touches on how I DESTROYED my skin with baby oil (!) and sunshine growing up, trying for the tan! My top lip is thin, which I always hated growing up because I wanted to look like Brooke Shields (I thankfully still have magnificent eyebrows at 50, because I wanted to look like Brooke Shields….🤦🏻‍♀️😀) One of my Filipina friends here in San Diego still receives skin-lightening pomades in the mail from her mother in the Philippines. Thankfully she ignores them, but wow, we sure do stupid shit to stay unhappy in our own skins, don’t we? And you black and brown ladies are getting it from every angle, for sure…
